Due to the success of our first lecture with renowned astronomer Govert Schilling in February, we are thrilled to announce an exclusive second lecture for one night only, on Saturday 6 July. This special event will also launch our Summer Nights program, featuring the popular exhibition 'Destination Cosmos' on display every evening in July and August.

Join Govert Schilling, the Netherlands' favorite astronomer, as he will guide you through the mysteries of the universe and give you the keys to understand astronomical discoveries.

After the lecture, dive deeper into the wonders of space with 'Destination Cosmos: The Immersive Space Experience.' This exhibition will transport you from the European Space Center in Kourou to Neil Armstrong's monumental lunar steps, and showcase the first robot 'selfie' on Mars. Experience the immense scale of the universe as you travel beyond our solar system in this extraordinary odyssey.

About the exhibition 

'Destination Cosmos, The Immersive Space Experience' will take you on a 40 minutes journey deeper into space. Explore Saturn's rings and soar to extraordinary heights, surrounded by captivating imagery from CNES, NASA, and ESA. 

Embark on missions to Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn, gliding over Martian craters with advanced rovers, and gaze at stars, planets, nebulae, gas clouds, and supernovas.

The lecture fee includes admission to the 'Destination Cosmos: The Immersive Space Experience' exhibition at Fabrique des Lumìeres (valued at €17). Following the 45-minute lecture, enjoy a 40-minute exploration of the exhibition.
